I am able to offer face-to-face sessions & virtual online counselling sessions via Teams or alternative platforms.

My private practice working days & times are:

Tuesday mornings: 9am to 12pm

Thursday daytime: 9am to 3pm & evening: 4pm to 8pm

Friday daytime: 9am to 5pm

Saturday mornings: 8am to 12pm

Please note Evening and Saturday mornings are in high demand.

What is counselling?

 

Counselling provides a safe, impartial and confidential space in which to explore your feelings. Many people find themselves considering counselling when they want their lives to change. This is sometimes a response to symptoms such as depression, anxiety, panic attacks, addiction, and flashbacks. At other times, it's simply because there is a general sense that life isn't working how they would like it to. It's at times like these that finding a trustworthy person to talk to can feel invaluable. I can offer a safe and empathetic environment in which we can begin to explore together the causes and effects of unwanted thoughts, feelings and behaviour. Our work together will aim to heal past hurts, reduce present distress, and equip you with tools to face whatever the future may bring.

My Approach

I aim to provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can share and explore present and past experiences and express thoughts and feelings enabling you to gain personal awareness, this can empower you to enjoy a better quality of life, have resilient mental health, improved well-being and more authentic relationships.

My aim is to listen, to understand and to help you reach your potential. I am an Integrative counsellor who works relationally incorporating a humanistic existential framework. I bespoke my approach to the individual using models such as Person- Centred, Psychodynamic, Gestalt, Transpersonal & CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy).  I also work creatively with clients using image work, drawing, clay work & sand tray therapy.

Sessions

Sessions last for approximately 50 minutes and are ideally on a weekly basis. I can work on a short, medium or long term basis depending on what is needed and is appropriate.
