What to expect?

In our sessions together, online or face to face, you will have the time for you to explore your thoughts and feelings and identify areas of concern or difficulty, which may be preventing you achieving your goals and fulfilling your potential. For clients working online we will agree a time when we will be both able to sign in and be in a space where we feel comfortable and not overheard to have our session together.

I offer short or long term therapy, assisting you to explore your difficulties in a safe place based on warmth, acceptance and respect. I welcome people from all backgrounds, faiths, ethnicity, gender and sexuality.

To help you decide if I am the right person for you I offer a brief telephone assessment where you can tell me more about yourself and what you would like to achieve. You will get a taste of how counselling works and see if we feel comfortable working together. There is no obligation.

Whilst I am happy to work with what you choose to bring to the sessions, it can be helpful to know your reason for deciding to have counselling including any areas you would especially like to work on, plus any specific aims or goals you may have in mind so that these can be taken into account.

Alice is patient and compassionate while being proactive and constructively challenging when she needs to be. I found this combination of empathy and robust testing of my negative perceptions immensely helpful.
